DataBank Hand Carry Agents – ‘The Key to Our Success’

To ensure the success of your mission, you will be provided with an Agent Manager and an Agent Manager backup. A minimum of two DataBank Hand Carry Agents will be provided for each mission.

DataBank Agents:

• are of Management level with regards to business experience
• have an intimate knowledge of correct computer tape and hard drive transportation
• are highly security conscious and medically fit
• are prepared to travel at very short notice
• will be available 24/7 for the duration of the mission
• have extensive international media transfer experience
• are neat, clean, tidy, presentable and professional
• have valid passports with no restrictions and in good condition
• will procure appropriate visas where required
• all have a good track record in being able to improvise, adapt and overcome any situation
• undergo police security checks on employment

How Secure is the Transfer?

We understand that security and confidentiality for your data transfer is paramount.

We ensure this by:

•  Only the Agent(s) and Agent Manager/backup will know the time/flight details if required
•  Non-disclosure agreements can be arranged prior to the transfer
•  During your mission, critical milestone status will be advised as many times as you require via phone, SMS or email
•  The tapes and or hard drives will remain within arm’s-length of the Agent(s) for the duration of the mission
•  Where possible, the same Agent(s) will be used for the entire mission, from first pick-up to final delivery, thus minimising any chain-of-custody issues
•  Preferred ID verification will be obtained in advance for pick-up and delivery and noted on consignment notes; similar ID will be provided to you for the DataBank Agent(s) involved
• Contact numbers for all parties will be made known including 24/7 escalation contact numbers (minimum two persons)
• Contact numbers and email addresses will be checked prior to mission
• Any irregularity will be reported to the client contact and DataBank base manager immediately
